My work varies as far as subject matter. I feel it is important for me as an artist right now to explore as many methods and ideas as possible in order to enhance my creativity and rendering abilities. I'm currently focusing on bringing my subconscious thoughts into reality by using the surrealist automatism approach to painting. I feel like this method emphasizes the importance of the "now", and has allowed me to create in single streams of thought while reducing the amount of thinking about what to paint next onto the canvas. I feel that in a way, my work create its own image when I work like this.
